How QuickReceipts handles it
Captures sales tax and totals from each scanned receipt
Tag deductible categories as you go
Year-end report by date range and tag in a few taps
This app so good and the amount of time it saved me this year is amazing. Take a picture of the receipt, tag it and at end of the year run a report. You have then created a spreadsheet to sort and edit. I expect 2026 to be even better because my goal is to add receipts as least weekly. Great job app creators.

Best Privacy respecting receipts app that you can actually use
I’ve been using Quick Receipts for over a year now to track my sales tax outlay for tax time. If you have Gmail it’s super easy to import and if not the camera portion is good, too.
I was wondering how it might be since most “privacy focused” anything’s tend to have a less than optimal user experience and this team has worked out both in spades. It’s so easy that I’ve gotten my 72 year old mother using it unsupervised with only a single introductory lesson.
